The project began with the demolition of an existing rear extension and the complete remodelling of the ground floor. The original timber floor structure was removed and replaced with a new insulated concrete slab incorporating underfloor heating throughout. The existing property was taken back to its shell, allowing for a full rewire, new plumbing system and comprehensive refurbishment. The addition of both two-storey and single-storey rear extensions created significantly improved living accommodation, resulting in a modern, energy-efficient family home that seamlessly combines new and existing elements.
